Ashley Milligan

Certified CrossFit Level 2 Coach

I discovered CrossFit back in college in 2013. What started as a way to lose weight and get in shape has turned into a lifelong passion. Over the years, I’ve competed in events like the Granite Games, Wodapalooza, and several local competitions. In fall of 2025, I qualified for and competed in the CrossFit Games Service Cup, which was hosted at CrossFit Mayhem. While I still love to compete, my focus has shifted more toward longevity, fitness for my career, and overall well-being. In the fire service, physical fitness is critical for performance and safety, and I’ve found that the discipline, teamwork, and resilience built through CrossFit directly translate to the demands of emergency response.

I hold a CrossFit Level 2 certification and coached at two gyms, most recently at CrossFit Port Clinton. After joining Toledo Fire, I had to step back from regular coaching to focus on academy training and paramedic school, but I still have a passion for fitness and helping others reach their fitness and health goals, an opportunity that has been afforded to me through joining CrossFit Fenix team.

Outside of work and the gym, I enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors. My husband owns a Christmas tree farm in Bowling Green, where I help out when I can. I love working out to country music (don't hate me), and I’m always up for a 5K run, partner competition, or outdoor adventure.

I’m passionate about helping people improve their physical and mental health - both inside and outside the gym. Seeing others move better, live healthier, and rely less on medication motivates me. Fitness has given me so much, and I love sharing that impact with others.
